The time for confirmation is quickly approaching again. On May 20, 2018, we will celebrate this faith journey at the 9:30 am service. Confirmation is open to all students grades 5th -12th.
Although confirmation is more than just a series of classes, confirmation class sessions are nonetheless a critical part of the confirmation experience. We are offering an eight week program beginning March 11th through April 29th which includes a weekend retreat on May 4th-5th. These sessions are designed to tell confirmands the story of our faith, teach them about core Christian beliefs and practices, explain to them distinct United Methodist beliefs and practices plus help them develop a faith vocabulary. It is our hope and intention that by the end of the eight weeks our confirmands will develop a stronger relationship to Jesus Christ, and desire to confirm their discipleship as a full participant in the life of the church at Haygood.

Sunday at 3pm on March 11 – Session 1
Wednesday at 6pm, March 21 – Session 2 (This incudes dinner before the class)
Sunday at 3pm on March 25 – Session 3
Sunday at 3pm on April 8 – Session 4
Sunday at 3pm on April 15 – Session 5
Sunday at 3pm on April 22 – Session 6
Sunday at 3pm on April 29 – Session 7
