Matthew 6:22-24
Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!
RESPOND: Jesus was teaching about possessions and money when he made this statement. What do you think he was trying to warn us about?
BONUS: (5 points) Do you think Jesus knew he was the Son of God when he was a young boy? Why or why not?

When your not fair about what things you have in life you get really greedy about what it is and you don’t know what is happening so you do stuff to fell in the pain.
He was showing that being greedy is not right. It can also affect people you are close to or your peers.
I believe he knew, since he always prayed and listened to his father, God, until the day he was sacrificed.
He was trying to show how being greedy can be unhealthy for you. And the people around you.
I think he knew because when he came back from the temple he said his father was with him the entire time. And maybe he just felt like he knew he was going to do something great one day.
To be aware because greed can bring ignorance .
Bonus: yes because when he disappeared to the temple he told his mother that he was with his father the whole time.
People when they steal. Maybe because he probably imagined being the son of god.
