I think she meant that she was happy that God cared for what statement she was in.
It means that Your soul became kind and pure, and your spirit filled with happiness.
I was worried about going to public school again. I prayed the night before school to please help me be happy there. I went to school and my spirit rejoiced when I found happiness with people. I felt the worry leave my soul and it was just filled with joy.
