Teenagers laughing. That would be my answer if I were asked, “What is the one thing I miss most out of my daily life because of COVID-19 and the necessary sequestering?” I miss the sound of teenagers laughing when they get together. It’s carefree and contagious. It helps me forget any of my adult struggles, and focuses me on the joy right in front of me. So I was so happy last week when our youth finally started meeting again! Of course, we have to be careful of one another and limit our numbers while social distancing.
And sometimes that means we still need to meet virtually. But when families zoomed Paint Night, there were lots of happy sounds being shared together.
What would be your answer if someone asked you, “What is the one thing you miss most out of your daily life because of COVID-19 and the necessary sequestering?” Whatever it is, I pray that God will show you where you can find it. May the peace and joy of Christ be always with you.
